LAMINATED FLOORING

Laminate flooring is a multi-layer synthetic flooring product fused together with a lamination process.Laminate flooring has grown significantly in popularity, perhaps because it may be easier to install and maintain than more traditional surfaces such as hardwood flooring. It may also have the advantages of costing less and requiring less skill to install than alternative flooring materials. It is reasonably durable, hygienic and relatively easy to maintain. It is important to keep laminate clean, as dust, dirt and sand particles may scratch the surface over time in high-traffic areas. It is also important to keep laminate relatively dry, since sitting water/moisture can cause the planks to swell.

LUXURY VINYL TILES

Luxury vinyl flooring features great design, deftly mimicking the classic, sophisticated looks of plank and other natural textures and tones, giving you a wide range of style options, and can be installed in any room of your house, including hallways, kitchens and even bathrooms.Ideal for bathrooms or kitchens - given the increased resistance of these floor coverings to moisture - luxury vinyl flooring cover any space where a higher degree of comfort is required in both feel as well as temperature being easier to clean and providing a higher level of comfort underfoot.

BAMBOO FLOORING

A bamboo floor is a type of flooring manufactured from the bamboo plant.Bamboo is an attractive alternative for flooring because of its physical similarities to hardwoods.Bamboo floor manufacturers and sellers promote its strength and durability as well as its resistance to insects and moisture, and they say the material is also "eco friendly".Bamboo Flooring Maintenance Like most hardwood floors, bamboo floors should be treated carefully. When mopping, it is best to use a dust mop to remove the dust and grime.

TIMBER FLOORING

Solid hardwood floors are made of planks milled from a single piece of timber. Solid hardwood floors were originally used for structural purposes, being installed perpendicular to the wooden support beams of a building known as joists or bearers. Bamboo flooring is often considered a form of wood flooring, although it is made from a grass (bamboo) rather than a timber. All timber wood floors are made from sawn wood and are the most common category of engineered wood flooring.

PARQUET FLOORING

Wood floors may be brushed clean, and mopped when necessary. Upright vacuum cleaners can scratch and wear the surface, as grit particles become embedded in the spinning brushes.

Parquet floors are usually long lasting and require little or no maintenance.

Unstuck blocks are re-glued. Bitumen-glued blocks require use of either hot bitumen or a cold bitumen emulsion, as other glue types do not adhere to bitumen.

CARPETS

A carpet is a textile floor covering consisting of an upper layer of "pile" attached to a backing. The pile is generally either made from wool or a manmade fibre such as polypropylenenylon or polyester and usually consists of twisted tufts which are often heat-treated to maintain their structure.
